Leave This Town is the second album of the American rock band Daughtry and set to be released on July 14, 2009. The band has stated that the sound of the album will be much heavier than their previous record.
Chris Daughtry announced on his Twitter that there would be 14 songs on the record, but 5 bonus tracks in different stores. Daughtry co-wrote the songs on the album with Chad Kroeger from Nickelback, Ryan Tedder from OneRepublic, Trevor McNevan from Thousand Foot Krutch, Jason Wade from Lifehouse, Adam Gontier from Three Days Grace, and Eric Dill from The Click Five. On May 29, 2009, Daughtry released the album art cover. The song written with Ryan Tedder didn't make the album. Despite the fact that 14 tracks were announced, only 12 made the final cut.Three songs from the CD, "No Surprise", "Every Time You Turn Around" & "You Don't Belong", will be used to promote racing on ESPN.The full album can be streamed on VH1 beginning July 7th.

其实，Daughtry的新作《Leave This Town》相比2006的Debut专辑要失望很多.除了之前放出的首波单曲《No Surprise》,几乎就不能确定第二主打单曲.而新鲜元素的加入,如苏格兰风琴,Acoustic,听来也有点奇怪,然而原汁原味的Daughtry并没有深深打动我.可能是对他们的要求过于苛刻了,毕竟大家都非常企盼这张专辑,因为它让我们等待了整整两年的时间.但是从另外一个方面讲,Daughtry在这张专辑的上的用心着实让我们看到他们对于音乐的执着,虽然给他们挑了这么多刺,不过给这张专辑亮上4颗星绝对不成问题.
